Anna Klett is originally from the Faroe Islands and trained at the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen with Jørgen Misser and Bent Neuchs. She had her debut concert in 1994. In the same year she took First Prize at the Conservatory of Music in Geneva as a student of Thomas Friedli.
She has played with most of the orchestras and ensembles in Denmark, but has ardently devoted most of her time to new music. A member of Athelas Sinfonietta Copenhagen, FIGURA and the duo klettWOOD. She is also musician and the pivotal person in mooseMATRIX, a platform for new music that collaborates with other contemporary arts. Finally, she is a co-founder of Aldubáran, a chamber ensemble from the Faroe Islands.
